From Asia to the Alps

We’re Joe and Frank, and we’ve called Tignes home since 2015. After years working in its hospitality scene and travelling through Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and China, we wanted to bring some of the flavours we loved back to the mountains.

We opened KODO, our little curry house, in 2022, followed by its bigger sister Kaijo in 2025, an all-day spot for lunches, small plates and cocktails.
